    Line change within memo field

In a memo field I would like to be able to hit Enter to go to another line within the same field. But when I hit Enter, Access instead jumps me to the following field. Is there any fix for that? Thx.

A memo field is not a series of rows with number. It is 1 long text string.

There may be other ways to get the results you want, but you'll have to provide more details to get more focused responses.

rather than hitting enter, hit ctrl-enter

Also look at the control 'enter key behaviour' property, try changing to 'New Line in Field'

Ctr-Enter worked and so did changing Enter Key Behavior. You are brilliant. Thanks!!!
