Sum a currency field in a database and report the running total back to a data entry form.

I have a data entry form which carries the details of purchased articles as given on suppliers invoices. I need to sum the cost amounts in separate lines on the invoice (now in separate records) and report the total back to the data entry form as well as recording the total on the database. I this possible? There will be multiple invoices for the same supplier (with individual numbers)

I'm thinking you should probably be using a MainForm and SubForms.
