Crosstab query to have 2 column headings

I have one more question. How do I join two crosstab queries so that I have 2 column rows.
So for example, I want all people name in row heading of crosstab query and courses they need to learn in column heading and another column heading which is type of course.
    Course A Course B Course C
    Type A Type B Type C
    Joe

    John
    Jessica

I have to also set the criteria as "dept" person belong to.

if I understand you correctly, you can't have two rows of column headings - you could concatenate both headings into one in your column field, or if using a form or report have two subform/reports carefully aligned to show just the header of one above the other. Or perhaps you can design a union query to show the second row of headings

If neither of these suggestions meet your needs, please clarify - design a mockup in excel of the two crosstabs and a third to show how you want to present them and attach screenshots. Also provide the sql to both crosstabs
