    Formating Numbers

In my query, how would you change this number 832000, to 8.32? I could divide everything by 100,000 to get it, but there must be another way using a built in function?

    They are 2 different numbers.
but you could do E. 8.32e5
    use scientific format.

I should have been clearer. I have a price file that has no decimals. Besides the example, another example is 1660000 which is actually $16.60, and 8424000 is actually $84.24.... So I need to insert a decimal between the 5th and 6th number reading from right to left...

Divide everything by 100,000 is what I would do, providing there will always be a minimum of 6 digits.
