with page header and still data are repeated

I have created a report from query, the main table has the main data and the next table have the documents

the screen should look like this:

ID Co Inv Name section date amount Supplier Document Amount Supplier Date
    1 100025 alan sec1 5/5/2016 500 LPO 10000 4/5/2016
    EVRF
    Inv 500 4/8/2016

however, this is how it appears

ID CoInv Name section date amount Supplier Document Amount Supplier Date
    1 100025 alan sec1 5/5/2016 500 LPO 10000 4/5/2016
    sec1 5/5/2016 EVRF
    sec1 5/5/2016 Inv 500 4/8/2016

How can I make the section and date not repeat. the supplier document, amount and supplier date comes from another table, they are connected to CoInv which is unique

    please help.

    Thank you.

Are you looking for the Hide Duplicates property of a textbox?

Sir, I too have the same issue. the "hide duplicates" option for the field is on by default, but the report shows duplicates in the last record of some values of the field group and does not show for other values. This happens consistently every time, I try to open the report.

Can't attach. I need to mention that the group field is sorted alphabetically, and another field is sorted in the decreasing order within the group .

While running the wizard for the report design, I had configured the group field in the increasing order and another field in decreasing order. This is confirmed when I crosschecked the group header properties by clicking "group & sort". But now I clicked the textbox of the group field and selected increasing order in the properties. And the group values are now displayed without duplicates ! But the other field's sort order is disturbed. What I want is to sort the group field in increasing order and the other field in decreasing order within the group.

Got it ! A fresh report made through the wizard without any sorting. Having done this, sorted the group field and the other field textboxes in the design view as desired. It worked!
