one would think the most immediate and expedient idea would be to go back to a prior back up copy of the database.

well while definitely know saved import/exports - I have never heard of "saved import /export page" - so I am not 100% sure we are in sync. I also have never heard of saved imports/exports disappearing - though in a general corruption anything I suppose is possible.

the only 'fix' per se is to do the compact/repair; make a copy first as it can make things worse depending on the situation....

as a sanity check; when one makes a macro - and uses the 'Run Saved Import/Export' - in older versions like 2007 one had to blindly type in the name I think but in the newer versions one is offered the list available - so you would see there if they really exist or not.

but if you have the table data - which it sounds like you do; then one should be able to merge an old/past version of the front end objects with the import/export and the current data without too much work....

Look in your MSysIMEXColumns and MSysIMEXSpecs system tables, you may find info.
But, as NTC said, if you've had some corruption, then anything might have happened.

If you know the layout of the source table and the target table, you should be able to recreate the spec, or a module/function(s) to do the mapping.
