Need help in inserting date range in access forms

    Dear Gents,
Um trying to insert in my time sheet application if the user was off for example 1 week , I need to let the user insert date from to date to , Say from 1/2/2016 to 7/2/2016 , and this dates should be recorded in the table as a leave , Instead of adding the date manually 7 times !.
    Thanks in advance

The solution depends on if you want only weekdays, no holidays, or just a continuous range. The usual approach would be to log the start and end dates of an absence?

Where I'm from, Saturdays and Sundays are not holidays.
What you seem to need is a table that lists your holidays in 1 field of date data type (no time component) properly formatted according to your pc regional settings (e.g. 09/22/2016, 22/05/2016) and a text field for a holdiay description. You don't need weekend dates - Access functions can be used to eliminate them. You'll need to create this for as many years back or forward as you need. The rest of the topic has been covered here https://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=57713 and probably elsewhere in this forum. There is also an external link in that thread on the topic.
