    Drop Down Box, Word Recognition

    Hey guys,

Thank you so much for your help these past few weeks. It's really helped me get things going with building my company's database.

I have another question that may or may not be Macros related. My boss wants me to format the database in a way that when you input one letter into a new cell (within an existing field) a drop down box gives you suggestions in which you can click on. He doesn't want to keep filling out cells that have already been filled out in other rows within the same field. Instead, he wants to be able to fill out cells with 2 to 3 keystrokes with word recognition.

Is this possible to do with Microsoft Access?

    Thanks again!

Sounds like you need to use a combo box control on your form. The following link may be of some help: http://www.techonthenet.com/access/comboboxes/
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.
