Never heard of the book and 'access data files' could mean anything. You might get a better response if you provided a link to the book and explained what you have done already. In particular you say you purchased the book - so what does the vendor say?

Thanks Ajax for your attention. You might get clear by following:
    - the name of the book is "New Perspectives Microsoft Access 2010" by Adamski & Finnegan
    - The "Access Data Files" are the files to be used with the exercises in the book. The book may be a textbook in some school where the students may get these files provided by their instructors.
    - I bought this book online for self-study, I did not know that this book is for students.
    - you can take a glance of this book here

Found the following info, hope it helps you.

If you go to course.com and put in the ISBN number of the book, it will give you more info. Go to Instructor Supplements... Looks like you have to pay for the CD Data files.
Usually the publisher makes the data files available. This is just wrong, CD should be provided with the sale of book or FREE download.

    Review Pack (ISBN-10: 0538798513 | ISBN-13: 9780538798518)

All data files necessary to complete lesson activities are included on this CD.
    List Price = $19.95 | College Bookstore Wholesale Price = $14.75

Thanks, I visited that site and found no way to buy the CD. They sell the book in various types but no mention about the CD. If you can find out the proper way to buy and/or download the files please let me know. I appreciate it very much

I did some searching and could not find a way to obtain the Review Pack CD.

Have you tried to contact the online site from which you purchased the book?

    RG/Allan,

Yes I saw that, but could not actually get to a point where it could be purchased.
Amazon didn't show it as a separate item, it just offered the book( a couple of versions).
I did not see anywhere in the book description that a CD was included, but it may very well have if you could see the whole description and contents.
Also, if you google for the Review Pack with the ISBN listed, you get to the book.
This one includes the CD, but the total price is $171.06.

I did find 1 site that offered a download torrent of the CD if you signed up with them (no thanks).

I have purchased used books from amazon --great price, good condition and original CD included.

You misunderstood -- I have bought used books from Amazon (not the CD or book you mentioned). The used books I purchased were in good condition, and complete with CD (where CD was part of the book contents).

Have you tried to contact the online seller? Or the publisher?
Did you identify that you wanted the book with the CD?
Have you tried Amazon, eBay etc for a used book with the CD?

    Good Luck.

I did understand what you said, I wish to buy the book with the CD as you did. I searched Amazon but get confused about many different options. Thanks
