Hi
Using 'can shrink' on a textbox that contains rich text doesn't work for me, it only works when I put it in 'plain text', so i get a lot of empty spaces.
does anyone know a method to hide empty text boxes that contain rich text?
thanks.

Hiding (setting Visible property to No) them probably won't make the report compress. The boxes still occupy space.
I've never used Rich Text so don't really know all its quirks.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
I've actually never heard that. In terms of behavior I have seen where it will not shrink beyond (or should I say 'beneath') the design view size - - so that one must alter the design so the control has a very minimum size (with CanGrow property of course) ..... but I've never logically connected it to Rich text property per se....perhaps that is the same issue.....
