I have an access table which is linked to an excel workbook. This excel file is updated by multiple users. I would like to know of a way in access to check if the column headers in the excel file have been updated?

Why would the users update the header? They should not change.
do you mean update the data?
but no, either way.
You would have to persist the data within the Excel header in a table within Access or somewhere else, like another worksheet within the Excel Workbook. In other words, each time the Header is edited, you would also have to append data somewhere else. Also, there is a difference between linking Excel Workbooks to Access and Importing them. If Access has an active connection to the workbook, because it is linked, the workbook will not be available for edits.I would like to know of a way in access to check if the column headers in the excel file have been updated?
