report exported as pdf is fuzzy in Publisher

Hello,


I have an Access report that I export as a .pdf file. The plan is to have it then put into a newsletter created with Publisher.
The .pdf file looks good when it's opened but it's fuzzy when put into Publisher AND its formatting changes! (I thought .pdf meant "format written in stone.")

I realize this isn't a Publisher forum, of course, but I am wondering if I am missing some setting for the kind of pdf file that I am creating with Access that could explain this.

the standard pdf writers do not have a particularly high resolution - suggest try the adobe package. If it fits on the screen you could try taking a screenshot and using a jpeg rather pdf in publisher

Aside from getting logos within a report object to look good, I have seen symptoms that were probably due to the pdf printer drivers.

You might consider using Publisher to get the data from Access, directly. I have not tried it and I do not suspect it is the most simple and straight forward thing to accomplish. However, it may be the solution you need to retain its fidelity.
