    Typing UNION query in post

Anybody have any idea why Internet Explorer will not let me type the word UNION followed by SELECT in post?

This issue seems to have started after upgrading computer to Windows 7 64 bit and Office 2010 and IE 11.

Another test. Tried to type those two words and just get rejected by forum.

I also can't edit a new post until I refresh the page or close/reopen thread. Also started about the same time.

Another test. On my home laptop.

    UNION SELECT

Okay, so it's only my office computer that has issue with UNION SELECT.

However, still have to refresh page before editing post.

I occasionally have a problem on this forum with selecting text - either to change colour/set as bold or underline or to use code tags.

If I select fox from the below

the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog

even though the whole word is selected, it misses the 'f' and only actions on the 'ox'

Rebooting and updating solves the problem for a while, but it always returns at some point

    I'm using win8 64bit, IE v11

Yes, run into that one. Also, sometimes forum throws in a space that doesn't show in edit but it shows in post anyway.

I experience these as well, but as before reboot/update resolves it for a while. I wonder if there is a synchronization issue on security updates

The other issue I have is if I try to download an attached db, it saves it as a .php file - I have to then change the extension to be able to open it (or choose Save As) - I believe this is an IE issue. Files that are zipped up, not a problem

I haven't had the issues you mention. I often find that in the forum when I include/paste a link, it continues to underline/continue the hyperlink after the actual link. I found that going to remove format option I can adjust the position of [/URL] and reposition the link properly. I have never had an issue with extensions (php).
    I'm using Win 8.1 and Firefox 41.0.2.
