another user cannot open database in write mode

I have two databases that an assistant used to work on and she was able to change/add data. I got a new assistant, and asked our IT dept. to grant access to these files to the new assistant. IT gave her read/write access, and sent me the screenshots to prove it. When my assistant opens the database files, they open as "read only". I don't believe I made any changes to my databases that would cause them not to work for my new assistant.

Does anybody have any ideas? Thank you!!

This is already marked solved. Is it?

Sounds like an issue I am having on the new computers configured by IT.

Your db is not split? My db is split. Each user runs their own copy of frontend. But I have some 'temp' tables in the frontend. Code writes records to those table. For some reason it fails on these new PCs. I have been asking for months why and IT can't figure it out.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
