Automatic authentication for linked tables not working

    Hi,

I have a desktop application with linked SharePoint lists. When the application is opened a form opens as start up action. On close of the form main dashboard form opens. Now, when the first form closes, it also checks the user name in a linked table. In access 2013 it freezes. Till few days back it was authenticating the SharePoint site connecting automatically, but through access 2010 only. Access 2013 never worked. Now access 2010 is also not working. Below are the details. Please help me solve the issue.

Main application developed in Access 2010
    SharePoint 2010 has the lists
If I try to manually refresh the lists it goes through the authentication process, but that is not an option for me
Using Windows 7 enterprise, 64 bit
All service packs applied, system is updated

    Thanks in advance!

So is the issue with Access or SharePoint? I have no idea how to determine that.

I've never used SharePoint. And by the lack of replies, seems no one is familiar with the issue.

Another reason for not 'upgrading' to 2013.

Hi June, any idea why Access 2010 is also facing the same issue?

None, I have no experience with SharePoint.

Especially odd because it was working before.

It's my impression that not a lot of experienced developers on this forum work with SharePoint.
