Connecting to SQL Server from Windows 7 extremely slow

We have been using Access 2007 on Windows XP to connect to a hosted SQL Server instance. It has been working just fine, until we switched to Windows 7. Running the same version of Access(2007) on Windows 7 is extremely slow. Just loading a table that takes maybe 1 second from Windows XP takes 20+ seconds when connecting form Windows 7. Both computers are on the same network, and there is no slowdown for any other internet usage on the Windows 7 computer.

The only difference that I can find is the operating system. Has anyone ever seen anything like this or know of any fixes?

    Thanks!

I have had similar experiences using mapped drives where W7 does not reconnect to resources automatically. Perhaps it is a network security setting that is delaying the client's ability to connect/re-connect. What are you using to connect to the server/DB? It is pretty common to use a DSN-Less connection string. Maybe the hang-up is with a DSN file on the client.
