    Export Access table with two default header rows

    Good afternoon,

    Is there a way that I can export table data to a tab-deliminited file but I need the first two rows of the file to be default columns and never change. If I could export this into excel and have the first two rows always be the same information in the same column/row that would work. I just don't know if that's possible of if there is a better solution.

    Thanks,

    Robert

    Might be able to construct the dataset you describe with a UNION query.

    SELECT "Row1Name1" AS Field1, "Row1Name2" AS Field2 FROM tablename
    UN ION SELECT "Row2Name1", "Row2Name2" FROM tablename
    UN ION SELECT fieldname1, fieldname2 FROM tablename;
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
