Create a linked table in Access

    Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to create a table on Access that looks like the following:

    Data1 Data 2 Data 3 Data 4 Data 5
    A 123 123 41 41
    A 123 41 41 41

I want the table to be linked to the Pivot Table Data and publish it as a report.

I know in excel it is simply using the = sign to the cell reference; however, what is the equivalent of this in Access?

    Two main questions I have:
    - How to create a table as shown above?
    - How to link the Pivot Table data to the table above?

    Thanks for the help!

What do you mean by 'create a table' - do you actually mean 'create a query'?

What is the structure of your raw data?

I've never used Pivot Table, only a little experimenting. Not sure can be linked to another table or query. Why would you want to link a pivot table? What is the pivot table data?

I get the impression you don't have an understanding of relational database concepts. Must forget how spreadsheets work. Database is nothing like spreadsheet.
