SQL Server 2000 Cannot Attach Database, Problem with LDF File

We are trying to attach a database but it doesn't like the ldf files (there are 2).
One of the ldf files grew too large and became corrupt when we ran out of disk space.

We have renamed the log files, no luck.
We have moved the log files off the computer, no luck.

Can you delete the reference to the ldf files in the mdf file?

Or are there any other suggestions?

    Thank you in advance

Is this for an mdb file?

Edit: Sorry, didn't realize I was posting in the SQL Server forum.

Don't have any experience with this but it seems like oversized LDF's is a common issue with pre SQL 2005. This link seems like it has some good info.

I think you have a big problem if your DB is not mounted. Seems like the only solutions involve changing the recovery mode to full recovery model, doing a backup of the LDF, and then a SHRINKFILE command.

Since the DB is offline, this link may be what you need to consider.
