How do i customize tile sizes on my form?

Hi. I am trying to customize seperate tiles on my forum, some are just too large. When i try to do this to certain tiles, it selects all the tiles in that row. How can i just change certain ones and not the whole row??

Can you post a screenshot of what you mean as "tile" ?

i mean text box. all my text boxes are the same size. When i go to make one smaller, the row of boxes all get smaller. I want to just change the size of 1 text box

Click on the individual text box and drag any margin (typically from the mid- point of any side ) or press F4 to open the Property Sheet and set the width property as desired.

that did not work. I remember my professor said there is a button to turn something off that allows you to control to control the movement and resizing. Does anyone know what button it is???

Select text box and try to remove layout on Arrange tab
