Open report in print preview -- Minimize form -- Can not move focus to report to print

Excuse me if I use the wrong terms. I am somewhat new.
    Access 2013 - Win 7 - 64bit

I have a form that I use to pass parameters to a report that I open in "print preview". I do not want to close this form because it's parameters are use later. Thus I use a "minimize window" to get the form out of the way so I can preview the report that I wish to print. I do not want to open the report and print it with out preview the report.

After the report is printed, I will "restore window" to have access to the original form.

The problem -- I can not get the minimized form to lose focus and transfer focus to ribbon so I can press the print button. . . . . .so I can print the report. If I close the form all work well, except I lose the parameters I need to the next step.

I would hide the form and make it visible in the close event of the report.
