Runtime Error '3028': Cannot start your application. ...

... The workgroup file is missing or exclusively opened by another user.
Well, that is the error message.
I googled somethings about that, but it does not seem clear to me, so i decided to ask.

This seems to be all the code that is affected:
    Code:
    Set wrkAcc = CreateWorkspace("newWS", "FluppeUser", "p_word", dbUseJet)
... what could be a solution to this ?

I have no experience with such things ... that is why googling didn't help me out, i think.
Any hint would be great, thanks a lot

I've never used code like that. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

I thought workgroups were an Access 2003/ADP feature.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Well, i try to create a WorkSpace- Object with access-VBA ...

maybe the thread is not located under the right topic, "programming" or smth. is maybe more suitable, but the issue clearly deals with windows users and user rights, so i thought ... well maybe i was wrong.
but anyway ... thanks for reading my lonesome post.

I believe the username and passwords should be those stored in your UAC file (typically called System.MDW).

If you are using the ACCDB format, it's likely you're not using one of those and should just use "Admin" for the username and an empty password.

I'll try that, thanks a lot.
