Connection to SQL Server ODBC Failed

I connected all of my linked tables to SQL Azure. When I open up my Access front end, everything works fine 100% of the time. After 5 minutes, I get this error message:

    ODBC-call failed.

If I close and reopen Access, everything is connected and works just fine...

I tried everything I could, then finally talked to SQL Azure tech support, who referred me to a known issue http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2730109.

The known issues circumstances don't seem to apply to me, so I'm reluctant to accept it, and their "workaround" doesn't seem feasible to me, so I'm likely going to be trying other SQL hosting providers...

Just an update... (hopefully someone can learn from my "testing"). I ended up going to the Amazon SQL service to test it out as a backend. Works great, and I don't have any of the time-out problems that I had with SQL Azure.
