I am trying to link Oracle 11g tables to Microsoft access 2010, But I keep getting the odbc --call failed error.

    Here are my steps:

    1. Click on External Data tab, then go to ODBC Database.
    2. Check "Link to the data source by creating a linked table".
    3. Go to the "Machine Data Source" tab
    4. Create a new Data source -> System Data Source -> Select Microsoft ODBC for Oracle, then finish
    5. Data Source Name: TestODBC Description: Testing Username: Test Server: TestServer

The value of Test Server is already created in the tnsnames file. I've ran a tnsping on it and it works. I'm not sure what's going on. Please advise.

Did you configure your "tnsnames.ora" file?
