With two Win 7 Pro systems on a home network, I joined the two systems (#1 and #2) to a Homegroup. With the back-end mdb being on system #1, system #1 gave explicit read/write share authority to both the containing folder and the back-end mdb to members of the Homegroup. However, when system #2 launches the app, there's a failure as soon as the app attempts to make any kind of a change to the back-end.
Now, outside of the app, system #2 can read/write manipulate files within the folder that contains the back-end mdb, leading me to believe it's not a Win issue but rather an issue within Access.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bill
