Split database - share front end please help!!!!!!

Well Basically i got this Job
One database created on Access 2007 this folder located in C:\Uts DBs this folder contains 3 files

    1. UTS Check .accdr
    2. UTS Check_BackUp.accdr
    3. UTS Checks_BE.accdb

They loose all computers except one, now they want to share this database in all 3 new computers.

I took the UTS Checks_BE.accdb and split it in one Shared Folder in Workgroup
Everybody has access to the Back End file, i already re linked the new location of the database in \\user-pc\UTSCheck.
    Save it and close it

i took the UTS Check.accdr but it doesnt work cuz is programmed with the last configuration
now the Back End is updated and obviously will not recognize the location cuz is not longer in there

I think i need to take the UST Checks_BE.accdb and convert it to a .accdr to make a special database for the users

    how i do that?

Please i need to get this job done for tomorrow...

    PLEASE!!! HELP!!!!

A split db would not have the user interface in the backend, only tables. Where is the accdb frontend? That needs to be converted to accdr.

Actually, all have to do with accdr is change the file name extension from accdr to accdb. I had it confused with accde.

Problem solved I just did what you said.
Wend to carpet option and uncheck the box for hide file extension, replace the accdr for accdb and open it up in Access
We to link files to the Back and and DONE

    THANK YOU
