export data from subform to excel

hello , is it possible to export data from a subform to an excel sheet ?

Apparently not with the import/export wizard.

the sub form has a record source; because it is a sub form its record source itself does not have to have a criteria because the criteria is inherently defined by its main form cross reference

therefore copy the record source if it is a query, or make a query if it is a table - with criteria - so that it returns the exact same recordset as does the sub form.

open this 2nd query so you see a typical recordset and then go thru the export steps found in the ribbon - at the end be sure to save those steps with a name; then trigger this export when needed.
