Creating a Query to add data/update data to multiple tables

    Hi Folks,
I am trying to upload an Access 2013 file with no data in it but the system says that the file is too big to upload 1412kb.
I have created 13 tables - but there is no data in it.
How do I upload this type of file to show the forum what I am trying to do?

With that said, I am trying to create a Customer Issue Database to enter data, run reports etc. I am an absolute newbie at Access.

So, I have created a series of tables to use for this purpose
Unfortunately, I don't know how to hook all the tables up so that I can enter all the data in one hit so that all the NON ID fields update simultaneously.
I know about relationships but my attempts to create the table relationships have NOT been successful.

Any help with creating the correct relationships and queries to update future data would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

Did you run Compact & Repair? Zip the file? 2MB zip allowed. Otherwise upload to fileshare site such as Box.com and post link to the file.

What is a 'customer issue' database? What kind of issues?

Usually, one form can enter/edit data to only one table. Use form/subform arrangements.

    Hi June7,
Ok. So I compacted the file (it is now 748kb). Still too big though.
How do I create and upload a zip file?
    Thank you

    Hi June7,
Ok. So I have created the zip file.
The zip file contains an Access file called Mediation.
In it, I have created several tables.
I want to know how to link the tables (create relationships I guess) that will eventually enable me to enter data through either a Query or a form as and when new customers appear.
On an excel spreadsheet all these tables are organized as fields on one worksheet. Customers, Spouses, Addresses, Aliases, Mediators etc
On the excel spreadsheet the data is entered as a single row. (Row by row)
    Thank you

Your table structures need a lot of work.
I would advise stopping and reading about normalization. It looks like you have created the tables exactly like the Excel spreadsheets.
    See http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/forum/forum46.html

Also, object names should only be letters, numbers and the underscore. NO spaces or punctuation. No apostrophe's.
