Autopopulate date field on a subform, based on the main form date field

Hi, I have an AppointmentDate field on the main form, frmAppointment, and I want the PaymentDate field on the subform, frmPayment, to automatically show the same date in once I enter the date on the main form - but only if there is no record in the subform.

    Can this be done?

    Thanks.

If there is no record, then the only row available on the subform is the New Record row. The only way to show a value on the New Record row is with DefaultValue property.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
