Distributing and Locking Down Your Database

So most of you are probably planning on distributing your database to different people. That means you have probably also realized you need to split your database into a front end and back end so that network users can connect to the data simultaneously.

My latest 3 videos will walk you through splitting up your database into a Back End and Front End, then securing both files so users cannot gain access to parts of your program you don't want them to get to.

I hope everyone finds this useful. Feel free to tell me what you think and if there is anything in particular you'd like me to cover in an upcoming video.

Only Problem with the ShiftKey ByPass Code is that their is Code to ByPass that,(Access DB) that you can easily download from the web and get in. Access is insecure by design.
    Otherwise, excellent video tutorial.

    Thanks for sharing.

Yes, you could get around that, however if you save the file as an ACCDE, then you cannot access the VBA. That is not a step I have covered yet obviously.
