Access 2010 combo box predictive keystroke entry

    Hi
I have been using Access for many years, but all of a sudden my combo boxes have stopped auto predicting my keystrokes into that combo box, for example, if I have a list of suppliers, typing a "p" would always pull up a list of all suppliers whose name began with the letter "p".

It's been happily working ok for years, but all of a sudden, for whatever reason, it no longer works.

I would be gratefull for any sugestions.

I am not sure why this is not working for you. Do you have multiple columns in your combo? Perhaps placing the field you want to search inside the first column (.Column(0)) will do the trick?

Check that the Auto Expand property is set to Yes.

I was wondering if an On Enter event of .Dropdown was in order. Did not consider Auto Expand. Not sure I have used it before or changed it from default. Good suggestion...

If my memory serves me right, I've only ever changed it once before, and that was by accident.
