Combo box linked to a linked table Auto populate stops working after form reload.

I created a Combo box linked to a linked table within the same database the auto populate stops working after the form is reloaded. I suspect it is a property setting, Iam using Access 2007 I never had this problem with Access 2003, normally this is a simple process and it is doing my head in.

Would need to know property settings, code, form structure. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post. Identify objects involved.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Found the problem in Access2007 an Object Designer Property SQL server compatibility Syntax (ANSI 92) needs to be unchecked totally. In 2003 this is a default setting and never had to be changed. Fixed the problem instantly after four days of frustration.
