    Tracking deleted records

Anyone know how to track deleted records? I have a database that users login to and it tracks which records they make changes to but I do not have a way to track a deleted record. I read online about doing like an archive of the record to a table that will hold the deleted record and that made the most sense to me. Does anyone know the steps to do this or have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Do you have something that can append the record when they click on a button that I name delete record? This of course will not really delete it but rather place it in another table. Similar to how you archive records. I already did a an archive form with an archive button to archive my records when the database gets too large, however this archive that I created asks for a start date and end date. What I want now for this delete record audit is for the user to be able to select a record then click a button that will move the selected record to another table. Can you assist me on how to do this?

The referenced link is all I have. I've never implemented anything like this. You could search forum or web on the topic. It has been discussed many times.
