Formatting off when exporting from access to excel

None of my color selections for the different rows export over to excel. Any ideas?

Exports over a really light shade of grey.

Unless you specifically set a range of cell formatting you won't get the formatting. Here's a link to how you can do formatting of an excel file from VBA code:

there are a bunch of examples around but you can pretty much format a single cell, range of cells, or an entire spreadsheet with the vba code, but you will likely have to perform your export to a file, then virtually open that file, make the formatting changes, then save the changes and close the excel file.
