    Upsize wizard skipping table

I am trying to upsize my database to SQL Express. I have three tables, one large and two small. The two small one's upsize fine but the big one fails. There is no error i can see in the report except: Table was skipped or export failed.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

It will import the fields but not the data. It is happening on two of my databases.

One reason that the upsizing wizard would fail on my table:

I had a very old date in a date field. It seems that SQL can only accommodate dates back to the year 1300 or there abouts. While Access can accommodate dates back to the year 1. Sometimes my tables had dates like 2/5/205 (typo when trying to enter 2/5/2005). This caused the entire table to be skipped. So, before upsizing, open the table, and click A-Z on each date-type column to see if you have any "old" dates.

    Good Luck,
    Fred

thank you for the reply, I was not able to get it to work. I downloaded SSMA (SQL Server Migration Assistant)
