    command button

When I create a command button in design using the wizard, I would like to change the size of the button. I can change the size of the text part but the button extends past the text part. I am using access 2013. Thanks

After the button is created, you can select the button and drag the sides to any shape you want in Design View.

This will change the text part but in 2013 there is like a extended part that is pass the text box that can be changed.

I have ac2013 loaded and do not understand the change to which you are referring. Can you post a picture or maybe a zipped up db as an example?

Well I see it and realize I've never developed in ac2013. That is pretty awkward and seems to have vidio issues as well. I hope someone else has fought this issue and won. Maybe they can jump it here.

Not that it helps any but this issue seems to have snuck in since ac2010 which acts as one would expect.

Thank you, it's a shame that we have to change the size of everything just to fix this problem. Thank you for your time and we can only hope that microsoft will fix the bug soon. It also works with changing each button in properties, format, use theme to (no) this will allow you to use the old command buttons , not as pretty. Thanks again.

I'm sure MS will get around to fixing this when they update. At least there is a sort of work around.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
