MS Access frontend Sql Server backend 'The Object is in a zombie state' error.

Hi all, I have a MS Access database which is connected to a sql server database. I’m having an issue with a record in the sub table. Its only one particular record that generates this message (it has also happened once before and we deleted the record from SQL Server). Its appearing when the main form opens and will keep reappearing so I cant use the form (I can tell which record it is as I can see #Name? appear in a few of the textboxes for the particular record). I have been reading up on preserve on commit settings etc as I have a feeling it was caused somehow when the record was added to the sub table (new records get written via ado) and its now in an inconsistent state.

I’m just wondering if there is a way of trapping this or identifying any uncommitted records in this state. I come from a MSAccess background so I’m not 100% familiar with the sql server side of things. The problem is when the error appears users can only get out of the database via task manager.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Justin
