When opening query in datasheet form, can't edit fields

I have a simple query that lists info from one table, then calculates additional info into other fields in the query.

If I open the query in the datasheet view, I can edit the fields that I want, but when I open the same query in a datasheet form, I can't edit the fields at all.

Why is the edit capability in the form different than the actual query in datasheet view?

Boy, I sure would like to. I didn't see that in the properties list. Where is the switch for that?

On the Data tab of the property sheet for the form. It defaults to YES.

After I saved the form the data tab showed up. Allow Edits is set to yes.

Got it. Changed the Recordset Type to Dynaset (inconsistent updates). that solved the problem.
