    Subform issues

    Hi,

I am using Access 2013 on Windows 7.

I am trying to setup a database for a small dentist. I have three tables, customer, dentist and treatments. I am linking these via a bookings/appointments table using the relevant ids.

I have tried to create a bookings form to allow the end user to select a customer from a drop down list (new customer details can be entered via the customer form) and then make a booking.

I have used the wizard to select fields from the different tables (customersurname (custTable), forename (custTable), treatmentname(treatmentTable), bookingid(bookingtable), Date(bookingtable),, Time(bookingtable)

The form is created viewed by Customer. However I am unable to add a new record to the subform to add a new booking. What can I do to resolve this issue.

    Many thanks,

    spqr

The solution was quite simple in the end. I created a separate form for the bookings table and then added this as a subform to a different customer form. I can update the records in the subform now based on customer.
