    Post Date Format Display

    I am trying to export a data in Excel where a date filed is in ascending order

    But on displaying i am getting in ascending order but the display is somthing like this:

    13/05/2013
    13/05/2013
    05/10/2013
    05/10/2013
    05/08/2013
    05/08/2013
    05/07/2013
    05/07/2013
    05/06/2013
    05/03/2013
    05/03/2013


    05/02/2013
    05/02/2013
    30/04/2013
    30/04/2013


    date order is misplaced. any solution for case like this?

    Create a query in which your sort your data in the order you want. Then use that query for your export to Excel.

    the problem is the table which i am having in the database is in sorted format but exporting the excel changes it order. Please help!

    I believe that table sort does not always translate over when exporting, which is why I recommend sorting it in a query, and exporting from there.
    Did you try it?

    Yes i tried, but the result is as it is.

    Can you post the SQL code for your query here, and explain the exact steps you are taking to export it?
