Exporting filtered results to Excel

I have some large tables that I am attempting to export to Excel. Access was doing this successfully but has for some reason stopped. I am filtering these large tables down to not-as-large tables (~1M to ~500K), and then exporting to Excel for statistical work. When I ask Access to export, however, it exports the entire table and not the filtered results. Again, it did this successfully earlier today, but for some reason stopped. Anyone have a clue? I was able to get it to export correctly by checking the "preserve formatting" box, but this limits the number of rows to 65K, so it is not an option most of the time.



Any help is greatly appreciated.

Create a query using your table as the record source. Filter your query and save it. Now Export the query.
