    fiancial years

    Hi everyone

here is a bit of a tricky question...

is it possible to check the current financial year and add 5 years to it but not change until it reaches 16/17

to make it easier , if the financial is 13/14... my 5 year target must still remain 16/17 , until 16/17 is reached and then it must calculate from 16/17 to 22/23

I worked out the financial years just this is killing my brains

    thanks everyone for your input

Without an understanding of your data structure and the event you want to trigger and the data you want impacted, no idea what will accomplish what you want.

the data is totally complicated trust me on that.

I am doing this report in SSRS , one of my columns has a 5year target.

basically this field must calculate the 5 year target at runtime.

so if the financial year is 12/13 my 5 year target is going to be 16/17.

I have tried several methods to make it work, but it has not worked out.

    hope this explanation helps

    thanks man

    Does not help.

However, from what little I do understand of your narrative, can't be done. Need a field that provides either the start year or the target year.
