Locked myself out of a database file

I was trying to setup a security feature to have Admin access to the file with a password but when I reopened the file it says I do not have permission and to have the administrator setup access to the file; well I set it up and when I go into the security option it says current user is Admin but I am unable to change the access to the account. It again states that the Administrator must change the access. Any ideas please...???

    I've never setup password protection.

Assuming you don't have a version of db that is not password protected that you could revert to.

You could possibly import everything from the protected db into a new file and start again. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...abasePasswords
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
