    Web fill-in on a web page to send info directly to an access database table?

    Hi, all!

    Is there an easy way to link some kind of web-fill form to an access table such that:

    1. The form would look like the other web-fill forms the organziation might have;
    2. The user -- who would be from outside the organization -- wouldn't have access to any information -- they could only input; and

    3. That data would go directly into an access database table?

    I know that howevery they do their web forms now can probably be exported into Excel and imported, but I said I'd ask the above.

    Unfortunately, I don't know anything about what they currently use, so I'm only asking on a sort of general basis.

    Thanks so much!

    You have to know the names of the controls in the web page. Review https://www.accessforums.net/access/...ess-29548.html
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Thanks, June!

    And hello again!

    I might have misunderstood what I read at the link -- I interpreted what they're doing as going to web pages to find information and bring them into an access database.

    What I'm wanting to do is have a form on a web page that can be completed by people (name/address/checkboxes for interests) that will then feed the info into our access database YPsT so the company doesn't have to export to excel / import into access.

    Does your link address that and I simply didn't understand?

    Thanks again!

    If you want a database that 'links' to a web page you build then need some more tools, like ASP.net and/or Sharepoint.
