sizing a url within a webbrowser control

Hi, I have a webbrowser control on my form, that picks up a url from a table, and displays the web page (which is a photo).

I want the webbrowser control to be a certain size, because there is other information on the form, and I don't want to use a sub form.

However, the image from the url is bigger than the size of the webbrowser control, and so the control has scroll bars which enable you to move around to see the whole image.

What I want though, is some help with some VBA to resize the image on the URL, so that the entire thing can be seen within the webbrowser control.

I've searched on the web, but haven't managed to find anything as yet.

    Any help much appreciated.

Just familiarized myself with this control. I doubt can do what you want. Just as when you size your internet browser the scroll bars appear as needed, the same is happening in the browser control.

Ok, but can I not control the display size of the web page within the browser control?

The internet browser offers some adjustability with resolution settings (zoom in/out) and text size. But I don't see anything in the properties of browser control offering comparable behavior. But might be able to control these settings of the loaded web page with VBA.

Thanks June, that worked a treat!

Only issue is now that the photos are not all the same size, so I need to try & work it to zoom to fit the webbrowser control, or else work out what percentage each photo should be displayed at (which will be a long & tedious task!) but this is a great start.

    Thanks again.
