Email Tracking Task

Hi ,
I need to come up with a solution for this:
We receive emails everyday, everybody receives a copy, but we do not know who is taking care of what or if it was complete, is there a way that i can track who is taking care and when it was complete.

This is not a computer or access problem. This is a management problem. You need to identify what your business really is; to understand the major activities; to mange work flow; to assign roles and tasks to individuals; establish some procedures/processes to oversee that the "work gets done" and perhaps then; to look for opportunities for automation.
