    Query iif statements

is there a way to hide columns in a query using an iif statement? we want the column to show if another one has a certain value but if it doesnt we dont want it to show at all when you run the query. also, what does "*" mean in an iif statement??

No, code cannot hide fields in queries. This is what forms and reports are for. You can set the field value to Null or empty string.

The asterisk is a wildcard character.
