    msjet35.dll

I have a database on a network drive and I created a short cut with the path to msaccess.exe, my mdb, and my mdw. when I try and open my database through the short cut I get the following error:

"Application has failed because msjet35.dll was not found"

Does anyone no what this error means and better yet, how to fix it?

Also, when I click on the Database icon to open (not the shortcut) it opens, but without the login box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't do what you are trying to do. Each client that uses the Access app must either have an installed version of Access, or the Access runtime.

Alternatively, you could write a VB or DotNet app that uses an Access MDB as its data store.

Access is installed on the computers. It works fine when I do not have all the stuff in the shortcut path (msaccess.exe, my mdb, and my mdw) but I get the "Application has failed because msjet35.dll was not found"
error when I include all the paths in the shortcut link. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh OK..I think its a matter of parameters then. Just something like:

    /wrkgrp "C:\My Access Dir\system.mdw" "C:\My Access Dir\mydb.mdb"
