    Output Report to Excel using MACROS

    hello, i have a report that is based off a few queries. I want to create a macros that will open this report and output it to excel spreadsheet and rename it the current date. for example C:\\Documents\report for the path and 02_22_2012 for the name of the file



    where would i put that? im using access 97. I included a pic of what i have so far, what do i put for output file? and can anyone tell me what i have is correct so far? thanks so much

    ok, i got it to save to the folder i want, however how do i name the file so that it changes the name to the current day the macros is run?

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
