    Sharepoint for sharing

I am wondering if anyone has used Sharepoint to share an access database to remote users? We have about 50 remote users in different locations that need to have access to the same access database. I have heard sharepoint will allow users to enter into a "virtual"server so they could actually all be using the same database.

If not do you know of any other remote user methods I could use?

Yes, if you have SharePoint and Access 2010, you can share the database. Currently my SharePoint site isn't performing fast enough so I ask my users to open in the client, make their entries, and sync to server.
